I had a chance to try my latest GEM razor acquisition, a Bullet Tip that I won in the recent raffle. I had been looking for one so it was a stroke of luck that I won it. The universe was trying to tell me that it was time to try this razor because I had a fantastic shave. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I do so well with GEM razors of all types.

Stirling had announced a few weeks ago that Lime was back in stock so I used it as an excuse...er, I mean I very responsibly ordered only the things I needed. I think the best way to describe the scent is as if I cut a fresh lime in half and rubbed it on my face. Bright, strong, clean lime and nothing but.

I ended up with an exceptionally smooth BBS result. 9.8/10. Happy shaves all!

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #414 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the ISKRA Safety Razor with a PolSilver Super Iridium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Solo Menthol cream is apparently very cheap but it’s pretty damned good. It’s from Hungary and sold all over countries in central and eastern Europe such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Romania, it has a pleasant, clean scent, it’s very easy to lather, it’s fairly slick, the menthol sensation is mild, but noticeable especially during the second pass, and it’s got decent skincare. The Intesa balm is so soothing, moisturizing, and quite cooling, not to mention how nice the Aqua Velva is. I was a bit rushed this morning but I still managed to get a great shave.
