Thanks, Jeff! I'm doing a 30DC with this setup, so I will be using it a lot during this month. But the cream is pretty good, it works well for me!

    Greetings,

    Early Morning Shave,

Last shave of the week to finish my long run of using my SE razors.

I've now went full circle using all of my Vintage & modern SE razors...When i first started to wet shave my head and before i had the shaving confidence to shave with a DE or SE my razor of choice was the Gillette Guard.
It's the only cartridge razor i still use occasionally for a no fuss face or head shave...My maiden head shave with it felt like i was shaving with a potato peeler due to it's tilting head, but what i really like about is it doesn't clog up due to it been open comb and having a large blade gap, one of the few if any open comb single edge cartridge razors on the market. It's excellent for tight spots and problem areas. My only crit's are the razor is made of plastic and it's very light making it 'bottom heavy' but that's expected considering what it costs to make 'you're not going to get a shave from it like a DE or a SE razor granted, but the overall shave performance from this one-blade open-comb cartridge razor is very good and easily to adjust to when shaving with it.
A very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups acceptable DFS with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Cool ASB.

My face is feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #414 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the ISKRA Safety Razor with a PolSilver Super Iridium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I tried the Sensitive cream and it’s very good indeed. I also have the Classic and Menthol versions and I love them!

    Thursday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/King C. Gillette day 9
    MSC Frosted Lavender SS
    Prep ASB
    MSC Frosted Lavender AS Splash

My God, am I ever frozen from this shave and it feels so wonderful. Fernando’s Frosted Lavender is such a delightful soap in every way imaginable - the scent is so beautiful, the lather is so thick, rich, slick thanks to the tallow formula, protective, and cushiony, the menthol sensation is bloody frigid, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable as well as relaxing. The Prep needs no explanation because it’s so good, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave is witch hazel based, it has the same gorgeous scent as the soap, and it’s another bona fide menthol atom bomb. Three passes left me smoother than a glass table top - what a shave!

I hope you enjoy your shaves as much as I enjoyed this one - be well and safe!

I actually tried to order the Classic, but received the Sensitive one and decided to give it a shot.

The Menthol cream must be great! Bit difficult to get here though.

I just got this razor and i didnt know a gillette could be this mild. The earlier flare tips are mild.. but this was even milder to me. The soap smells fantastic, but unfortunately i dont have the matching a/s. I have et tu which is ok but i just realized it doesnt smell like brut that much. Lucky for me i have this generic brut that does. Lol

Razor: Razorock.84 Game changer-Mfg 2018> excellent tame mid range, well built with excellent QC, fairly smooth, I enjoy using a extra wide Kai blade in this razor to knock it up a notch in efficentcy. Wonderful shave with this combo.
Blade : Kai SS (6) excellent wider blade than a standard Astra SP, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity. Excellent blade instead of shimming a razor. Wider by 9/1000 of a inch or 4.5/1000 per side.
Soap: Tabac- nice mild flowery scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Red Zebra 26mm synthetic [IMG],excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub +excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
