Yes, I agree, especially since I will be 67. However, 200 1/2 DE blades would give me at least 1000 shaves, not 200. It took me 3.5 yrs to almost use up 100 Rockwell blades with my DE and shavette razors.

Fabulous progress with the Shavette. Can not go wrong with the “J” coming out of the bullpen Eric. Superb finish with the CL Bon Vivant. I love it. I have it in the toner version. Too bad, it appears Shawn of CL no longer is producing it.

2 passer in the usual manner,never lots to remove when one shaves daily.

I know the problem! I am bad! I have some more shave soap coming today if the mailman doesn't get stuck in the snow before he gets here. I have more soaps than I can count now. Do ya think I have a problem?

Thank you Joe.....I think the "more soap less water" persuasion I've been working on will make for some better shaves.

Well, I corrected my original post. I had 200 1/2 DE shaves give me at least 1000 shaves when I meant 200.1/2 DE blades give me 1000 shaves. You knew what I meant. Lol! Anyway, I corrected the post.

Excellent shave Joe.

I had never heard of Chatillon Lux, and received a nearly full bottle in a PIF over two years ago. I loved it from the beginning, and was sad to learn that aftershave production had already ceased by the time it came to me. Unique, beautiful, long-lasting scent and wonderful post-shave properties. A few months ago I heard Shawn Maher interviewed. He said the aftershave part of his business, although well-received, was not profitable. As a part-time side gig he just had to give it up. He is a successful expert perfumist, and has collaborated on some excellent soaps in the last year.

Do ya think I have a problem?....Not if your getting enjoyment from them..At the moment "I have what i need, not what i want"..Last month i was kindly gifted a Schick G type injector, Gem Featherweight + injector & SE blades, which set me on a "impulsive buying bout" i now have a Provision Supply Razor V2, & Parker InjRzr. + 40 injector blades which will last me for the full year and beyond...I must say my introduction to Injector razors has been Outstandingly brilliant...They have became my favourite head shaving razors.
