Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Pearl Man Shaver's Spirit Shaving Soap.
Blade: RK Stainless. ( D1)
Razor: Parker 99r.

Post:
Cold water Face Wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Duru Lemon Cologne./Cien Sensitive ASB./ Milton Lloyd Essentials No9 EdP.

Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the RK stainless. First impression?.. Performance & feel they're very much like the Sunny Supreme Stainless "Not too sharp, and not too dull"...I didn't have any dulling issues throughout the shave and paired together well with the Parker 99r making a smooth non-aggressive efficient subcontinent duo.

A enjoyable close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Essentials No9 EdP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

Im smooth as can be, buut it was a battle. The combo of razor and blade made the razor feel a little more aggressive than usual for me. My face felt it for sure with a little bit if blood to show for it.

I almost bought this razor the other day. What do you think of it in general and do you have any of the other GC razors to compare the JAWS to?

That's a great-looking razor! Unique.

The Marvel razor by Fine is one that I looked at over and over but there was always another razor that drew my attention instead. There was just something about it that made me think that it would give a great shave. It also doesn't hurt that it vaguely resembles a Star Trek shuttlecraft. I finally saw a used one for a price I couldn't pass on so now I finally get to try it. It turns out I was correct about the shave quality. I found it incredibly smooth. Those huge safety bars do their job perfectly, letting the very edge of the blade reach the face but keeping my skin from pinching or creasing.

The Jaguar 771 boar is a new addition and I have only lathered it a few times. Not surprisingly for such a huge boar knot, it is a lather hog. I think "Big Boar" will improve as the knot breaks in, at least I hope it does. Using a shave stick seemed like the easiest thing to do so I went with the La Toja. It held up pretty well to the brush and provided its usual slickness and cushion.

I ended up with a smooth, irritation-free BBS result. 9.9/10. Happy shaves all!

It's my first stainless razor and an instant favorite. I like just about everything about it, the weight, balance, aggressiveness etc. Quality seems to be very good for the price. I've never handled any of the other Game Changers.

Another awesome Grand Freeze thanks to Fernando’s wonderful Peppermint Latte soap and aftershave. The scent is in my honest opinion so beautiful, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather that’s so thick, rich, super slick, and protective, the menthol sensation is as strong as hell, and you can’t find better skincare. Thanks to the Prep my skin feels so well moisturized and soothed, not to mention how frigid the Peppermint Latte aftershave is - that gorgeous coffee/peppermint scent lasts all day. Three passes gave me a perfect BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #414 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the ISKRA Safety Razor with a PolSilver Super Iridium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

DE SOTD Sat, March 12th, 2022

Razor: Yaqi TFC adjustable- Mfg 2021>, great DE adjustable, well designed, I get close comfortable shave mostly, good daily driver for some folks IMO. Settings I like 3 WTG, 3 ATG + 3.5 pickups works well .
Blade: Personna red (3) excellent, sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream- Nice mild Lavender with hint of mint and woodsy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Panda synthetic tuxedo knot- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + pickups.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a Personna red.
