Thanks Joe! Yes indeed! I can't believe that I will hit #700 open blade shaves with Max. Also, I believe it will be my 61st have with Max which encompasses over 15% percent of my traditional straight razor shaves. Actually, it will be 17.4 % of the total straight shaves. I have 20 shaves with Artie and that is 5.7%. So total % of traditional straight shaves will be (81÷350) x 100 or just add 17.4 + 5.7 = 23.1 % traditional straight shaves complete with these 2 razors. That's approx. 1 out of every 4 traditional straight shaves. I am sure that I didn't confuse you with the numbers.
@Paul Turner I gave him until the last day of summer and that means a shave video made on Sept 22. Now, it may not be posted on that day, but he needs to do it on that day. Personally, he shouldn't wait until the end in case of a glitch. So Paul, I suggest you do it by mid September with the help of your nephew. You complain that your bathroom is small. How about you going to use his bathroom and have him shoot it and download it on YouTube while your shaving and then he can show you how to download it on our thread.

That's a good idea, but I'd have to do it in the summer, as he returns for his final year at law school in the fall. It might have to take some planning, as I'd have to spend the previous night at my sister's(he rotates between parents, as they're divorced). An easier way would be for him to explain it all over the phone-as he did once before for something else. By the way, my first videos would be of just the equipment I'd be using, not of me shaving WITH it.

Fine shave this morning with sophisticated goo. I brought back Barbasol-hadn't used it for a long time and wasn't going to give up on it, as there was enough left for a few more shaves. Turned out to be a success. Course that's what I'd say about MOST Barbasol shaves in the past. I may have squeezed out a little too much, but I decided to take advantage of that error by spreading it ALL over, not leaving any skin(face&neck)uncovered. The more the merrier, as they say. Good work all around. More time spent down at Cactus Nation, as the neck has given me trouble to negotiate, of late. As I shaved, I thought of two "men of men" who endorsed Barbasol-Knute Rockne(Notre Dame football coach during the 1920's))and Babe Ruth(no intro needed for the Babe). Probably many "current" personalities do today, and there's even a PGA event named for it-"The Barbasol Open". Anyway-one pass was all that was needed for this Outta THis World Excellent shave.
