  5. Thank you Joe...certainly helped get the week going.
  6. It definitely is, but I would also like to see you do a full shave video so that we can critique your technique and assist you in minimizing mistakes that lead to frequent cuts.
  7. You've probably already done that as it is, but I know what you mean-SEEING me at "work".
  8. Well, the advice that was given to you was based on assumptions to help you improve your result. I feel that seeing you in action will help us pinpoint what is causing your frequent cuts etc, because there won't be any guesswork involved. It's not to say that the advice you were given was wrong, but if we can help you tweak your technique by seeing you in action, then I think it would benefit you immensely. This thread is all about helping each other get great shaves and we do it because we want everyone to enjoy this ritual that was considered mundane.
  9. Thanks guys!
  10. Thank you, Joe.
  11. Last year my father started using a brush with canned goo so I gave him a tube of Proraso (azur lime) for christmas, and today he told me that he liked it. Maybe I'll be able to convert him.. He probably won't be into DE razors, but a Mach 3 isn't bad with a decent cream. Already converted my uncle and at least five friends. :D

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

The third outing was the acid test for the RK Stainless blade of which it still felt smooth with an efficient edge mowing down my stubble with ease.

The Proraso Sensitive shave cream is such a wonderful performer and creates a rich protective lather with only a small amount giving a great protective slickness and leaving a excellent post shave feel.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Morrisons Aloe Moisture Lotion.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
  19. Good morning, gents

Shave 8/30. A quick, but very enjoyable shave. No nicks or weepers. I really enjoy using this razor.

    Have a great day!
  20. Hard to describe my shave this morning, as I was using the exact same products, therefore another day with sophisticated, gentlemanly goo. Where's my rubber stamp? One difference is that the Barbasol came out in the form you'd get from Gillette ot Rise...nice and thick, not squiggly. That was a good sign. I should add at this time that a squiggly entrance doesn't necessarily lead to a bad shave-it just LOOKS weird. But I was proud-always went back to "redo" anything that didn't look right the first time. Again, nice work at the cheeks&sideburns, ditto Porcupine Alley(both parts), ditto jawline. Cactus was a bit of a challenge, as always is, but I did best I could. No Knicks, Cuts, or Polkadots. One pass. . Outta This World Excellent.
