    Good morning, all
    IMG_20220316_171721_409.jpg Shave 9/30. I decided to do just a single pass with some touch-ups. Very pleasant shave without any issues.

    I'll have to figure out a better background and lighting for the pics, currently I'm using just an old army blanket and natural light, occasionally a flashlight.

    I've been happy with the boots. They are comfortable and warm enough. The grip is pretty good even though I didn't buy studs yet. Can't say anything about durability yet, way too soon for that.

    My newest method is using a cold DE or SE. Everything else is warm as usual.

    Got this suggestion from YouTuber GeoFatboy.

    It’s odd feeling to me, but gives me far less irritation.

    Day 2 of painting the living room. Fun times.

    Pre-painting involved the early morning X3Bar Push workout, shower and one phenomenal shave. Jason’s @jtspartan, brush whipped up a glorious lather. Jason, I hope is well my friend.

    three passes with the Thistle razor has left my face smooth and velveteen. Post shave alum was silent. The sandalwood and Oud pairing in the aftershave is just delightful. It has a nice longevity which is still noticeable eight hours later.

    Welcome! Yes, I saw it on GeoFatboy's video the other day. I am usually a cold water shaver in the warmer months and hot water shaver in the cooler months.. Whatever works for you is fine with me.

    Welcome to the Cold shave club. I used a brush scuttle with iced water to enhance the chill into the lather.
