Great shave, Joe!

 

Thanks Daniel. Max is my favorite razor. I have never had a bad shave with it.

 

I can't say that I know much about straight razors, but it looks great!

 

Shave 10/30. I got a tiny weeper, but apart from that the shave was great. I always seem to enjoy shaving more when I skip a day.

Thank you Daniel. It is a custom razor that was made by well known razor maker Max Sprecher. I bought it for my 65th birthday almost 2 years ago. It is my showcase piece.

 

Fine shave Daniel. I like shaving with a day and a half to 2 days growth.

 

Survival day for me here(for most of the day)...water main broke nearby-all water is shut off around the complex. No shower, no shave until it's fixed.:-((

Wow! That's a shame! If you had a gym to go to then you could have taken a shower and shave there. This too shall pass Paul. I guess you can take some bodywash and your shave gear to a fast food joint to take care of business.

 

no nicks or cuts....evening shave perhaps..

 

I just might. It'll be like retuning from the hospital-immediate shower and shave upon return(around 5 PM), then a normal S&S the next morning.

 

Didn't do that, but was able to use the "Oval Office"(bathroom)in the library. I put on some deodorant(sans soap)and found a way to brush my teeth before heading out. You're right about the gym, though.

 

They said it would be off "for the better part of the day". Shux.

Gorgeous day here on LI with mid Spring like temperatures with clear blue skies. Unfortunately, I have not had much opportunity to enjoy it as I am inside painting again.

No worries as this morning’s shave was an uplifting experience. Three passes with the Fatip razor and a phenomenal lather whipped up by the Jacobson boar brush resulted in a close and comfortable shave.
