Hi all!
Since covid my days and nights have been full.
Hopefully everyone is doing fine and your families are too.
I'm still shaving daily with the most efficient razors and feather blades.
Anyway.....
I haven't bought a new razor in quite a long while, that dry spell was broken yesterday.
I picked up a King-C-Gillette from a local drug store. I think it's a bit over priced but with gas over 4 bucks a gallon and hamburger the same per pound what isn't over priced.
Now looking at this razor, the coating seems well done, there is no bad spots on my unit and the shine is top notch.
First lifting it out of the package, it's a heavy little tool, disassembling it I find that the handle is most of the weight.
The barber pole design makes it easy to grip and hold.
This razor is a 3 piece, I like 3 piece razors, they are easier to keep clean.
Inserting a feather blade, aliment is good, reassembling it, the blade stayed in proper alignment.
Using some bay rum I mixed up a thick creamy lather that I'm used to when using any other tool.
The first couple strokes told me everything about this razor.
A mild tool likening a Gillette black tip only much heavier.
My normal one pass shave turned into a 3 pass shave on the mug.
The gourd got 2 passes to be as smooth as I like.
I had to work to clean it out between strokes, I attribute that to the small gap between blade and safety bar.
The verdict.
This Gillette, it's a mild, heavy, but seemingly well made tool that anyone could use, weather they were new or an old time wet shaver.

All in all a good razor especially if mild is your cup of tea.
Well I gotta get to work.
To all.
Good luck.
Good health.
Good shaving.
And
Enjoy!!
