That looks like a solid list, though I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying Wars or Balea. + I'll add (for the sake of completion to my list): JM Frasers Olivia Cream (which I am now learning I prefer the "beef" version) Erasmic Lather Ingram Lather Tom's of Maine Peppermint Oil
Wars has a spicy woodsy scent. I think Jeff can better describe it. I really like it. Balea is more along the lines of Palmolive and Nivea, it's also very nice. I have one tube only for the Balea so I will use it very, very slowly. I would really like to find a connection to get Wars but no luck so far. Raf
Indeed, Wars is really nice stuff, and quite dirt cheap (though not as cheap as J.M. Fraser), at CAD$1.69 for a 65 gram tube! Raf, send me your coordinates and I'll have some more of it winging your way. Jimmy.
On the Vulfix Lavendar... Bluish purple color, but lathers up white (though I keep my "white" bristle away from it from paranoia). Medium density cream (thicker than Salter's) Lathers easily with good volume Applies in a nice, thick, opaque layer with good cushion Only Lavendar that I own, so nothing to compare to for scent. Smells minty without too much floral. Contains glycerin & aloe vera, but also parabens
Taylor's of Old Bond Street Avocado Crabtree & Evelyn's Sweet Almond Oil Haven't tried the JM Frasers yet (cause nobody loves me :ashamed001 )
Hmmm...I've been using mostly soaps, so my cream inventory is a little short. My faves so far have been Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna and Nomad.
Apology accepted. Men aren't allowed to have mind-reading badges. You have to give birth to receive those. :rofl
At the moment not the high-priced creams: Musgo Real Proraso Speick Palmolive (European version) Derby Arko Karo And for the high-priced section: Charles Tyrwhitt Lemon&Cedar (very, very rare) Taylor's Eton College
Boy Scout Camp was directly across the lake from Girl Scout Camp. Oh, the plans we had to sneak over there.
Back on topic now, my favourites are: Proraso Green Proraso Red JM Fraser Body Shop Floris Proraso green is probably the first among equals. Jo-Ann/Queen of Blades if you're serious regarding Frasers PM me with details as I'm venturing downtown Toronto on Friday and could pick up a tub of Frasers for you gratis.
