The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 3D Injector Razor with a Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Two back to back Grand Freezes - today’s was not quite but almost as cold as yesterday’s. Fernando’s Citrus Melody soap and aftershave have such a gorgeous citrusy scent - it seems that the lemon is the more dominant note but I can also detect some grapefruit as well as tangerine and a little lime. The soap’s tallow formula gives the lather such thickness, richness, and slickness, the menthol sensation blasts you, and the skincare is A1. As always the Prep feels so wonderful when I massage it on following a shave, and the Citrus Melody aftershave has the same intense menthol kick but there’s no burning or stinging because it’s witch hazel based. There’s no way I could ask for a better shave - three passes left me smoother than silk!

DE Shave of the day, March 24th 2022

Razor: Yaqi Stainless Steel 316 V2 Tile- Mfg 2021, great mild razor, I like to use a extra wide Kai SS blade in this razor to drive it up a notch to a tame mid range. Easy shaving, works ok, looks similar to a Henson razor.
Blade: Kai SS (8) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity. Wider by 9/1000 of a inch for more blade feel.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum & Sandal wood, nice Bayrum scent(some clove) with Sandal wood, great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Atlantis 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, very nice scrubber, excellent painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel beard cleanse, Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe hand bar cleanser.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Tile razor with a Kai SS blade.

First shave with a new soap in over the year it took me to finish my puck of MWF.

I think I prefer MWF to IK, but it was a nice comfortable shave with good skin care properties.
