  1. Thanks Daniel! I just wish Fine Accoutrements would strengthen their scents.

  2. just curious..has anyone cut a puck in half or grated one to see if the scent is present under the outer layers?

  3. I never did, but my Platinum aftershave is so light that I think it's Fine's MO to keep everything mildly scented. Therefore, I think your suggestion probably wouldn't make a difference. I would think a soapmaked would want the scent more pronounced so a customer would easily enjoy it insead of going through hurdles to do so.

  4. fair enough.i do remember the soap's scents being stronger when first purchased, though that was nearly 4 years ago.;)

  12. Closed out the Barabasol/Bill Neumann today(until next time, that is). I took the advice from the gentleman's post yesterday,(I'll keep his name, @JACarbone , private) who said that with the extra Barbasol, I should focus more one the area I skimmed over(NW Porcupine Alley). Looks better. But another fine shave-tried my best to cover all the bases. Did a better job with the sideburn areas. Good at the cheeks. Success again at Cactus Nation. When used "just right", this Bill Neumann A.S. is a winner. Great skin-food product. No Cuts, Knicks, or Polka-dots. Outta This World Excellent.

    DE Shave # 390

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Gillette British Slim TQT (1966 - L2)
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Old Cahaba Shave Club Brocha
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Brocha
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Chatillon Lux La Foret EdT

Excellent Fougere shave this morning. I decided to go with the Gillette British Slim TQT, inspired by Barry, @palmolive fox, wonderful shave he presented yesterday. It is a mild razor that delivers a very close shave.

I did my usual three passes without an incident. The alum report was extremely silent
Which is probably a testament to the mildness of the razor. Finished of the shave with a couple of spritzes of the CL EdT which has me smelling great just in time to take my mother shopping.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
