This was a shave of many firsts. The Yaqi brush, Merkur Progress, and Moon soap are all new. The Progress has much more heft than I expected and I was immediately pleased with the quality of the razor. The Yaqi Ever-Helpful brush is a little smaller than I normally use but it did a great job of whipping up Moon's Havana soap into a creamy, well-hydrated lather.

This was a very enjoyable shave. I ended up with an irritation-free BBS result. 9.7/10, deducting a few tenths for missing a few spots. Happy shaves all!

At the last few shaves of the blade (7th and 8th), on the Ascension I untwist this a 1/4 turn to up the aggression. It helps give me those last few shaves to finish things off.

 

Once I mentioned the Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood & not the clove and a fellow must of bought some and thought I should of mentioned it had clove and that is why I mentioned just "some clove". I really like the Ogallala brand and it was priced right when I bought it. The Bayrum with Sandalwood is just right for me, I have enough sweet scents and I like a change up to Bayrum once in a while for a more herb scent & the sandalwood changes it a few hrs later as it dry's down to a more sweetened herb scent IMO .

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head
Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Bowl Lather.
Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather:The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe Shaving Cream.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS. (5)
Razor: Supply Razor V2.

Post:
Cold water Face & Head Wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Baylis & Harding Sandalwood & Amber ASB./Oud 24 Hours EDP.

Face & Head shave.

A new shave set up to start the weekend.. I have mentioned on many occasions that The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe shaving cream never fails to provided me with a smooth protective slick lather in no time leaving a superb post shave feel....This cream gives the best protective slickness, and post shave feel that i have had from any shaving cream that i have tried to date...Superb Stuff!

The Supply Razor V2. mowed through my face and head stubble effortlessly.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Oud 24 Hours EDP to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

It’s been a long time since I used my Lush Life soap and it sure was nice to go with it today. It’s vegan based I believe, and it has a lovely scent which I find hard to describe, the lather is not only thick, rich, and slick it’s very easy to build, there’s a mild but pleasant menthol sensation, and it’s very skin friendly. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave finished the job perfectly. Smooth as smooth could be from three swift passes!

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 3D Injector Razor with a Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

The last time I tried Arm&Hammer deodorant, half a chunk broke off. Nice scent, but I didn;t like the "break".
