Well, that's true whenever one buys a product from another country. Why would I buy a quality soap from Europe when I know the exorbitant shipping fees will be passed on to me. I know of one brand from S. Africa that the price is quite reasonable here in the States and that is Master Soap Creations. I have not tried it but have seen it used on youtube and it lathers well. I believe the Razor Company stocks it. There are a few others like Razorock, Omega that make soaps at reasonable prices as well. With the price of gas, I am glad that I have an abundance of soap.

Outstanding shave Barry! Supply razors have an excellent reputation. They just came out with the SE with a no nick system. Have a great day! In fact, you can get the new plate to make your razor an SE without buying the new razor.

Very good overall shave this morning with Sir Hare&Co.'s Alpha. Tobacco and Sandalwood. I think this soap will be the first one I will have finished since joining in 2015. I flipped away some others that I felt I'd had enough of. But not SH. Before the shave, I ended up with more soap loaded than at other times. Nice work from the Jayaruh #59-and of course, ME. Great job spreading the soap all over. All bases were covered. The only glitch in the shave was a cut at S. Porcupine Alley. It got too big for me to call it a "Giant Knick". 2 passes, and boy did I need that second so I could slice off a section of Cactus Nation that I missed during the first. Pleased overall. It should have been a higher grade than the Super Duper Excellent I'll give it.

Brought out one of my favorite setups this morning. My 1A fav brush whipped up a nice lather from MCS lavender soap. I just love it.
Did a WTG and then a ATG pass for a very near BBS shave. I didn't feel like doing a half pass to chase the baby. There was not any bloodshed or irritation. Finished the shave with my normal ritual and ending with a splash of this awesome juice. Have a great Saturday!

    Brush: Opus Shaving Brushes “Underdog”
Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Wonderful classic Cella shave this morning. The synthetic brush whipped up a nice lather. The W &B blade delivered a relatively close shave as I think it is time for a refresh on the lapping part or 12K stone. Most likely the lapping paper for a first go round. The shave was close but not as close as usual with this blade.

On the agenda today will be finishing up the painting off the molding in the dining. On the task is completed, the dining room is finished.

This evening, Joann, Anthony and I will be heading our to a nice steakhouse to celebrate her birthday which is this upcoming Monday.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
