I decided to shave tonight so that if I get called to work tomorrow that's one less thing to do in order for me to get ready.
Yesterday's shave was really close so that I could have waited for tomorrow, but I already explained why I am shaving tonight.
It's been a very cold day and it will be in the 20's tonight so I went with Stirling's Christmas Eve soap. The scent is just fantastic! JR'S brush whipped up a velvety, thick and slick lather.
I decided to pick out my Model T because I rarely use it for my faceshaves. I usually reserve it for my headshaves. I also keep the T on the max setting of 6, but I thought that I would try shaving on setting four because my stubble was light. I did two passes and got a decent shave without irritation or blood. If I had it at six, then I would have had a BBS shave. I experimented to see what type of shave I got from a used blade. Maybe, if I had a fresh blade, then I would have had a BBS or a near BBS at setting 4. It doesn't matter because I was fine with this shave.
The Alum gave little feedback and that's always a good thing. Witch hazel treatment followed to soothe my skin. Finally, splashed the awesome, matching aftershave that brought back Christmas memories from my youth. Have a good night guys.
