  6. RAD is trying to kick in. Do I need a new razor? No, but I want one.
I need to distract myself somehow. Maybe I should hoard blades or soaps instead? :D

    DE Shave # 391

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Muhle R41
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Sawdust Creation Studio Old Cahaba
    Lather: Lakewood Soap Company Smokeberry
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

Another chilly start to the day here on LI. Joe, @Trigger, is probably dreaded venturing out into the cold to spend the day with the Yutes of America. I know he enjoys them.

A fabulous shave this morning with the Lakewood Soap Company’s Smokeberry. It’s scent profile is as follows: “Juicy blackberries, old leather, and a bit of smokiness make this an intriguing masculine scent. ”

The R41 came out to play today. It is a wonder razor. I have the less aggressive version, not the 2011 model. My face is smooth and velveteen,as Jeff, @jgreenepa, would describe his end result. Speaking of Jeff, he has been scarce around these parts later. I hope all is well or he could be just taking another break.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

  16. Fine shave this morning with the same as yesterday (course the brush was different). I really thought I was headed for the top grade, but some New Yorkers(Knicks)appeared. All but one was killed off with the cold-water rinse and the A.S. But let's go back here. I thought I needed a little ,more water during the loading, as it looked as if I had all soap. A little water's good as we all know. I have the tub a quick few drops. Cheeks&sideburns look clear and fresh.Same with S. Porcupine.N. Porcupine was a challenge, but I got most of it done. I may switch to a "North-to-South" motion on North. That's how I do it on South. (sorry for the geography, lol). But I look, feel, and smell very good overall..Most Excellent.

  19. Terrific shave, lineup, pic and post Joe. The yutes got a reprieve from me today, but I still hate the temps that we have had the last few days. I will venture out to the gym later this morning. Have a nice day.
