Shave 16/30. Just a quick night shave, one pass with some touch-ups. Nicked myself once, my fault, but alum took care of that. Apart from that the shave was enjoyable. Have a great night, gents!
Very nice shave Daniel. Nicks happen and that's part and parcel of shaving. You are good to go as long as you don't need stitches.
Thanks, Joe! Alum is all I need for nicks, but I might buy a styptic pencil at some point. If I ever nick myself so badly that I need stitches, well, at least I live very close to a hospital. Your shave was great! Would you recommend the Old Spice? I've been thinking of trying it, if I can find some.
Thanks Daniel. I like the Old Spice aftershave but it is the Proctor and Gamble version. Obviously, the original version was much better as I remember it as a kid. From what I have read, the Indian version is closer to the original. I recommend anything that says it's Old Spice.
It's sad that P&G changed the scent. I actually remember trying Old Spice as a kid, with my friend. His father had a bottle so of course we gave it a try. I remember the burn. I'll buy some if I can find it. I need to get more Clubman and some spanish Aqua Velva as well.
I'm glad the 6 oz. Clubman is sold in drugstores. If you want more, you need to order it, either on line or at your barber shop.
Y'know, I never thought of that, Joe....as I get near the bottom of the container, if the scent has weakened, out it goes.
My nose reacted real well to "New" Spice(P&G) Hawkridge. But I'm more of an Old Spice kinda guy(love the jingle).
