The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #398 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Army Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

These blades are what I used a few years ago when I returned to DE shaving, like them and took awhile to find some that didn't cost an arm and a leg. All the other parts worked well together and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

My face is going to need all day to thaw out from all this menthol - even the mentholated pre shave soap felt really icy. The Glacial Obsidian’s beautiful black licorice scent filled the bathroom, my Yaqi Barber Pole whipped up such rich, mega slick, protective lather, the menthol sensation froze me to Kingdom Come, but the skincare was perfect. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave were a wonderful soothing, frigid finish. These Shark blades from Egypt perform really well - today’s shave was another three pass BBS work of art!

Razor :Micromatic open comb(button less variant)-Mfg 1930-32 + 1932-41 button variant for Gem double edge blades, upper mid range, built to last, 1st mass produced TTO in the world and sold millions. Great razor to use for tough beards, excellent design! This razor helped Gem Mfg(ASR) make it through the dirty thirties depression!
Blade :Gem Personna SS PTFE(9) excellent blade, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice scent of lavender + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Viper 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hairs, great scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=
