    AAA Shave (April/Adjustable/Amber Fougere)

    Razor: Rex Ambassador
    Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
    Brush: Yaqi badger
Soap: Good Fellas Smile Amber Fougere

Sorry, Joe. I can keep up with the "Adjustable" and "April," but I can't continue daily with the "Arko." I am glad to keep the alliteration alive with "Amber Fougere" soap by Good Fellas Smile. A very nice smelling soap that pairs well with classic Brut, and is priced around the $10-$12 mark.

Great shave Daniel. Remember, the themes of the month are not written in stone. In fact, you can ignore them if you wish or do a partial adherence to the them. In my case, I am committed to do 8 shaves with Arko and an adjustable. I could easily just do 8 Arko shaves with straights and 8 adjustable with other soaps to make my intended quota. I could have chosen 2 Arko shaves with an adjustable and that would be cool. I always say that the option is yours to shave whatever setup you desire irrespective of the monthly theme.

    Greetings,

An invigorating early morning cold water shave.

It's been a while since i last used the Omega shaving cream and forgot how easy it is to create a slick protective lather...The kick from the Floid & Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB gives my face sensors a vibrant wake up call!

Everything in my shave set up worked together superbly this morning resulting in a enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

The baili BD177 (super-speed clone) is an incredibly good razor each and every shave that I've had with it has been consistently comfortable and good. Today yet again no exception.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & cool.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

I have been called to work today so I decided to use the same setup as Sunday's shave and used the same pic as well.
Everything went well for this 2 pass shave. The only thing different was that I did a XTG second pass instead of my usual ATG. Got a nice close shave. Have a great day guys.

I took Trigger's dare and used a Feather blade in my Muhle R41. VERY nice shave! I tried Col Conk's Bay Rum soap and I like it! Nice rich lather. I bloomed the soap and loaded my brush to lather in my bowl. TONS of lather. Finished with Proraso balm.

I will use this combo a lot more now. No nicks or burn. I got no tingle when I rubbed the alum bar on my face after rinsing soap off. It looks like I have my safety razor technique back! VERY enjoyable shave. I seem to like my aggressive razors the most. I can't even use my Vikings Blade "Chieftain" anymore! I tried a Feather blade in that razor and it felt like I was using a razor without a blade!

Col Conk is great shave soap.

Fantastic Feather/Mühle shave Hogie! I am glad you took the dare and got great results!
It's very important to try different things in our setups because you may get an aha! moment. Now, you have a new shaving setup that you never considered or were afraid to try. Kudos to you again Hogie!

    Ikon B1 OSS head
Signature Shaving SSC59 stainless steel handle (bead blasted).
    Feather blade (fresh).
    Razorock 400 Plissoft synthetic brush.
Lakewood Soap Company Smokeberry shave soap.
    Timeless shave bowl.

No shaves this past weekend or Monday. I wanted a good test for the new Ikon that came in yesterday afternoon.

I went ahead and got the three different base plates and went with the OSS this morning. The OSS resembles a Gillette New Type Long Comb on one side and a Tech on the other.

First pass was with the open comb side.....smooth. Second and third pass was with the solid bar side.....very smooth as well.

I'm impressed with this head....It is smooth and efficient. The solid bar side shaves like a Tech that has been brought up a couple notches and the open comb side is a little more efficient than the solid bar side. I'm looking forward to some more shaves with this baby.

I hope everyone is doing great and take care.
