  6. I'm going to give it another go this month, but mostly as a focus and partly a rule, not a rule like last month where I used the same 4 pieces each shave. I'll be focusing on vintage DE razors that I haven't used in a while, use the same blade and soap each shave (kind of a rule), alternate use of 2 brushes, and alternate use of 2 A/S.
Yesterdays shave - Leresche #56, Feather blade (same blade since Feb 1), Rudy Vey brush, MWF, Epsilon Blue Med A/S.
Tried to post a pic but even after cropping, it's too big so no luck.
  7. thank you Joe..:):eatdrink047:

  9. I think I'll get myself the Trafalgar T2 and a Fatip. Leaning towards the Grande. The open comb slant looks cool, but I have zero experience with slants, so I'll probably pass on that one for now. Could be a decent setup for may, and it would leave some room for variety.
  10. tech tuesday

    nacet
    simpson
    osp
    proraso

    good morning gents
    lovely menthol shave this morning.
this brit fb tech/nacet combo delivers an excellent shave
    definitely a keeper
smooth 2 passer in the usual manner
    proraso green splash to finish.
the osp soap is similar scent wise to proraso cream/soap but a touch colder and slicker
    awesome.

    have a fine tuesday everyone.

  15. Aniother fine shave today in the middle of a Razorock/PS triple play. Cheeks&Sideburns are great, ditto both ends 0f Porcupine Alley, although a Nick showed up in the North but was wiped away by the cold-water rinse and A.S. I also missed the same area at Cactus Nation that I missed Sunday. The "PS" aftershave poured out nicely for a good spreading at the face and neck(Cactus). This one gets a Most Excellent.
  16. Chubby 2 is one of the best looking brushes I know of.

I'll get the nickel plated one, I don't really care if it loses the plating, as long as it works! I think black ones had the most issues with plating loss, if I remember correctly.

Maybe an adjustable could be cool as well.. I do like the look of Merkur Progress. Not buying one yet though, but if someone here has a Progress, I wouldn't mind hearing their opinions about it. ;)

  19. Thanks, Gary! Maybe the most sensible thing would be to stop purchasing razors, I have more than enough to last me a lifetime.. Only six at the moment though. So I think I have room for a few more.. :eatdrink013:
