The plating on mine isn't 100% perfect, but not bad either. 29€ for an all brass razor is not a bad deal, but it's probably a bit more expensive over there.

Try a full cold water shave..

Oh my. This razor is fantastic, it's incredibly efficient without being aggressive. A really smooth razor. I decided to try it with the Treet Falcons, which are carbon steel blades with a coating of some sort. At least in this razor, these blades work very well. I'll have to compare it with other blades in the Fatip next month.

@Primotenore, thanks for chiming in. This might be my new favorite razor.

The brush was very good too, and so was the cream, fantastic and realistic grapefruit scent.

I also decided to toss in some Astra (Blue) blades to try. I have the green and like them.

I have a Parker Semi-Slantbar razor and I like that one. I have yet to try a Feather blade in that one tho...

Thanks, Joe. I was a bit surprised how easily it removed the whiskers, even in my problem areas.

I got a package of restock and a new after shave splash to try. Shelf getting full! Theo not happy I didn't let him sniff it all!

This seems to be a popular razor. I did a search and found it is sold out all over the place! Definitely get the open comb. I read that the closed comb is super mild.
