Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream.
Blade: Chinese Gillette Super Blue.(D1)
Razor: Merkur 37c.

Greetings,

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream, which I've had for a while and finally got round to trying it out...The verdict?...This is a thirsty shaving cream which can take a lot of water with no fear of it losing it's density...Using three dollops from the pump it lathered up wonderfully providing me with a slick protective lather for the full shave which didn't dry out on my face in between each pass leaving a good post shave feel. All in all a great non-expensive high street available shave cream which i look forward to using it again in future shaves.

The Chinese Gillette Super Blue are comfortable smooth, & sharp which paired together with the Merkur 37c superbly.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton lloyd Essentials No.10 EdP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

The ARKO Extra Performance Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #398 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Contour with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I suggest the 26mm Monster brush for you. I believe you’d love it.

A special thanks to my dear friend Mo for sending me this lovely Yuka Lyptik soap. I must say that I really enjoy it a lot whenever I use it. If I’m not mistaken it’s got a vegan formula with a very nice minty/eucalyptus scent, the lather is awesome, there’s plenty of menthol cooling to it, and the skincare is excellent. Needless to say the Prep treated me like gold with its own special moisturizing, cooling, and soothing, while the Aqua Velva aftershave went on icy cold along with its great old school scent that I love so much. Three passes left me so smooth and silky!

Razor : Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm,Mfg 2021> excellent simple designed razor, fairly inexpensive, some manual adjustment of top cap. I just keep cranking out excellent shaves, one great carefree shave mostly. Head parts are small so I assemble over wash cloth.
Soap: Tabac, light clean flowery scent with excellent lather qualities
Blade : Schick proline AC,50mm 30P (1) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity.
Brush : Yaqi Cavern lake 24mm tuxedo knot, Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Fine fresh Vertiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Schick p30. blade.

Damn fine shave. These old types tend to be aggressive and well it feels like it. My first time using vintage williams puck and it performs really well. Menthol may be there but could be my imagination.
