  12. I didn't pre-heat the lather bowl and I used the "Bay Rum" Co. Conk soap. I did put a bit of warm water on top to bloom the soap. So, the shave was cooler than normal. Soap was room temp. Simpson small brush. Cold water rinse of the razor. Proraso white for pre-shave. Parker 94R with a Feather blade. Finished with balm and some new splash I got. "Pinaud Clubman". Nice scent and I noticed citrus hints. Nice shave. I do love them Feather blades. I did get a little close around my mouth and produced a couple leakers but, nothing the alum bar couldn't handle. So, I did get a little bit of burn. That is my problem area.

  14. IMG_20220409_160543_992.jpg Shave 23/30. I'm bending the rules quite a bit, but might as well do some experimenting.

I used the Falcon in my Game Changer, and a GWS in the Fatip.
More efficient combination of the two was Game Changer with the Falcon. Falcons seem to cut my beard way better. They do not feel like the sharpest blades ever, but sharper than GWS for me.
Fatip was more comfortable of the two. If both razors would have the same blades, I would expect the Fatip to perform better.
I managed to nick myself with the Game Changer once, nothing major though. No such issues with the Fatip.

I think a slant with a sharper blade would be a great combination for me. I will do more experimenting with different blades after I'm done with this focus. Might have to buy a few tucks of Feathers too, I haven't used them in a long time.

    Have a great day, gentlemen!
  15. Nice shave, Hogie! Clubman is one of my favorites.
  16. I anxiously await the arrival of my slant-bar Monday. Not sure what blade to try in it first....maybe the Treet Black "Carbon Steel" blade to test the waters. I like those blades and use them for 2-3 shaves and toss.
  17. Awesome shave, setup, and pic Hogie. The corners of the mouth are always tricky and weeps do show up there. I usually have the blade at approximately a 45 degree angle to the corner and weeps are very infrequent for me. I just bought a new bottle of Pinaud Clubman aftershave to replace my expired one. It is a nice barber shop scent.
  18. Excellent shave and nice gear Daniel.
