    Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush
    ARKO SS
    Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29 hrs

    This is my 5th Arko/Adjustable shave and only need 3 more to fulfill my commitment to this month's theme. I have to say that Arko performs great. It loves water and it gives a slick easy lather. Yes, I like the smell, however it dies down to a clean Ivory Soap scent. Lately, I have been shaving at lower settings with my adjustment razors and I get great shaves without using the highest settings. Yes,I have to do some buffing, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
    Did 2 passes for an IBSS ( in between smooth shave or in between a DFS and BBS ) without any errors. Did my usual postshave ritual. The alum was mostly silent and the witch hazel was soothing. Finished with the marvelous Veg. After rinsing out and drying the brush, I decided to toss the blade and load a Gilette Winner Blade. I can't wait to try this blade for the very first time.     Great shave, Joe! It’s true that good technique should deliver a good shave at just about any setting, but I just love blade feel too much! I shave my adjustables wide open.

    Thanks Jeff. As you know, I like to go full throttle on my adjustables, but I do like to change things a bit every now and then. I still get blade feel on my Model T at setting 5.
