    The B1 Deluxe is pretty much a copy of the Gillette New Deluxe from around 1930. If you have shaved with a New Deluxe then you have pretty much shaved with this one. They shave real similar. To me they are on the middle scale of aggressiveness or slightly above middle.

    From what I understand the Ikon Tech is the one that is above the R41. I don't have the Ikon Tech.

    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
    Lather: Palmolive classic Stick
    Aftershave: Floid Genuine

    A very nice three pass shave this morning. First time use with the Palmolive Shave stick. The 200 T brush whipped up a slick but then the lather. The Dollar Tree razor with the GSB blade easily mowed down this morning’s growth.

    Tomorrow’s Shave will feature another Shave stick. I will go with a classic barbershop scent of bay rum. Additionally, the Parker SRX Shavette will be given the honors of taking down the stubble.

    I couldn't wait for the Fatip to come so, I did a quick non-eventful shave with my R89 Twist & Feather blade. No pics.
    Mail comes late on Mondays so, maybe tomorrow. It's almost time to switch to my Birthday razor. This is the week, so, I may hold off using the Fatip til later.
    I plan on using my 1956 Gillette SS Flaretip. I may try it with a Feather blade for the first time. No matter. Nothing special.

    I must say that I am really liking that new after-shave splash Pinaud "Clubman"
