The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the SlimGem 3D Printed Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick "66" G4 with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Awesome shave this morning. I loaded a fresh Astra to try out in the Deluxe this morning. The Astra pairs really nice with the Deluxe.....smooth but still efficient.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve used this Junjie razor that I picked up at a dollar store here and if I tell you that it cost me two bucks would you believe me? Anyhow it’s a very efficient DE and although it could never replace my cherished 1950s Super Speed I’m still very pleased with it. This Bielita cream is from Belarus and it’s got a flowery type of scent which is nice enough, (my wife loves the scent) the lather is awesome, there’s a mild but pleasant cooling effect from the menthol in it, and the skincare is terrific. The Intesa balm from Italy also smells nice, it’s fairly mentholated, and it’s very soothing as well as moisturizing. The Alt Innsbruck aftershave is a top favourite of mine - do I ever love the scent which is so old school European and it’s loaded with menthol. The new Shark blade in the Junjie helped ensure a perfect and very enjoyable three pass BBS shave!

Razor : Star bar #4model- Mfg 1919-20, nice mid range, my favorite lather catcher of 3 LC's and was well built, joy to own & use.
Not many modern razors can match this one for performance and audio feed back IMO.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (2) excellent blade, very Sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Italian barber Amici, nice grape fruit citrus scent + excellent lather qualities.(discontinued)
Brush :Yaqi 22mm 2band badger Sagrada Familia, excellent lather generator, soft pillow like tips, great scrubber + excellent lather painter.( one of favorite of 8 badgers)
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Star bar #4 model with a coated Gem blade.

Vintage Williams makes a great lather. I don't know anything about the Rex brush. I found it on eBay and gave it a nice synthetic knot. The flutes on the bottom are similar to some taillights on vintage cars from the 1950s with big fins. It seemed a great look to go with my birth year Red Tip Gillette.

Very smooth shave to take off a three day stubble.
