I am REALLY liking this razor!

Fatip slant open-comb razor loaded with a fresh Astra blade (green). Pre-shave Proraso white. Soap of the day is Col. Conk "Amber". It is not a strong scent but, it is really slippery! Lathered in my bowl and then lathered some more with my stiff Simpson brush right on my face to build even more lather. I like Col. Conk! Finished with Proraso sandalwood balm.

This is now one of my favorite razors. I gives me a very close, smooth shave. I highly recommend this razor!

No major problems with just a couple leakers around my mouth. Nothing the alum bar couldn't handle.

This morning(12th), I finished off the trifecta of Phoenix soap(Boomtown By Rum)and Clubman Special Reserve A.S. Another beauty of a shave(pre, during, and post). It was my 3rd day of the left-to-right swirling of the shave soap. Makes a big difference, all right. Now I can see how shavers used to take just 20 seconds to load-they went at it powerfully with their strong hand. ,going left to right. (Or right to left if they are right-handed, which I am not). Clean and clear along the cheeks&sideburns. Nice and easy does it along North Porcupine Alley(kind of sensitive there). The jawline looks fine although I struggled to get a pattern going, for whatever reason. Nice work down at Cactus Nation. No cuts, knicks, or polka-dots. Outta This World Excellent.

Oh I'm glad the whole thing got printed. :). I saw a copy of it that was cut way off and I was afraid I hit a wrong key or something. And yes, that left hand is being taken advantage of :).

I'm not as creative as you in that persuasion, Gary.

I have pretty much figured my face out. I must say that I do enjoy the more aggressive razors. Less work. The newest addition to my collection (Fatip slant open-comb) is one I now place near the top of my fav list. It's a mission of discovery with razors, soaps, brushes, etc to find what pleases me the most and works the best for me. IMHO so much better than shaking a can of foam. I LOVE all the fine soaps that do lubricate better than can foam. Plus I now use a pre-shave and that helps a lot. The biggest factor, I think for me, is the soaps. Some are so slippery I drop the brush! Shaving is looked forward to now instead of dreaded and put off for days.
