Thanks Joe. Now that I have fulfilled my 8 Arko/Adjustable shaves commitment for this month, I am looking forward to using my Proraso Green and Razorock Classic soaps and deep-six them.

Thanks for thinking of me, but Jeff @jgreenepa is the one with the TR6.

:signs001: Joe...The Feather/Parker 94r duo was excellent...I'll be trying a face & head shave with my Muhle R41/Feather duo recommended to me by @Trigger in future shaves, who along with @jgreenepa have became my TSD shaving guru's.;)

    Good afternoon!

    Shavette Shave #356
    Dovo Shavette
    Rockwell DE 1/2 Blade (4)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29 hrs

Glad to get out of using Arko and an adjustable razor and returning to my shavette and straight razor shaves. I am at the end of the Proraso tub so I will continue to use it until it is gone. I should have a few more shaves before the burial.
In the meantime, Evan's brush did a great job whipping up a creamy, slick lather. In fact, I had enough for 4 passes. I usually do 2 passes, but the blade was not as sharp so I added an extra pass. I am not used to going across the grain, but I was fine with it. Did get a nice, comfortable shave but I would rate it as a BBS-. The stache area and some parts of the neck were not as smooth as I would like. I guess you can say that I have a visual BBS. Lol!
I usually get 5 shaves on a 1/2 DE Blade, but I binned this one after 4 because I had to take an extra pass and the shave still wasn't up to my normal results.
Still it was a nice, decent shave.

I still had enough soap on the brush that I decided to lather my face the 4th time to feel that soothing menthol on my face and neck. The alum did give me some feedback on my neck, but I expected it due to the blades lack of ultra sharpness. Witch hazel and that great Proraso aftershave were splashed on ny skin to finish this shave. Enjoy your day guys!

Great shave kit and commentary, Gary. Sounds like you’re developing a taste for blade feel. Have you ever considered open edge shaving?
