  4. I vote oldfat1 most organized! Wow neat setup there. Hey do I see a synthetic brush or two in your collection? If so, tell me how you like them, I'm thinking of getting one off the 'bay to try.

Btw, someone tell me again exactly how it is we're saving money with this hobby?
  5. Dude that's just what we tell the wives!
  6. Yes there are a few I've gotten buying lots. You know they work pretty good. They are a lot stiffer than Boar or Badger, so they work alright for creams. Only so-so on soaps.
  7. hahaha

Well when you consider one cartridge costs $3, lasts about a week, thats $156 a year, just on cartrides. (thats like a #66!) Multiply that by 50 or how ever many years I have left, and we have $7800, just in cartridges. Then add probably $60 a year on crappy gel. Thats $3000

I figure that what I spend on razors, my son will be able to get back out of them when I die, so that is all justified (in my mind anyway :happy102)

When I spend $11,800 on blades and soaps, and it is not enough to last the rest of my life, that is when I will admit that it isn't saving money. That is when I will use the excuse that it is more enjoyable.

See, it is all justifiable. :happy102
  8. This guy here. Him. Much can be learned from him young ones.
  9. You know, someone once told me that self-justification is just another way of lying to yourself! :happy102
  10. Hey, new title! And as you've already seen, I have the weapons of mass whisker destruction!

  12. I prefer to think of it as enlightenment. :D

Hey JoAnnA, let's see a pic of the stock room. That should be worth some oogling.

  14. +1!
  15. :shocked003
    Nice collections guys!
  16. Can't right now.

    Maybe later, if I remember.
  17. Wow!

I am impressed. My wife lets me have under the under sink space (one side only).
  18. Nah, it's all perfectly safe :happy102 :o

But, well, what can you do when you run out of space?

BTW: Thanks for your lovely comments, guys. Y'all have great collections, too! (And most are better organized than mine...) :eatdrink047
  19. I graduated from under the sink to two shelves in the basement linen closet :D
  20. Build upwards! That's the American answer. ;)
