Sunday Schick shave, May 1st 2022

Razor : Stick Schick injector L type theme series-Mfg 1973, nice mild range, I can get great shaves with this razor + brings back my youth from those days of being reckless.
Blade : Personna coated injector(8) excellent very sharp blade, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Cyril S Salter Indian Sandal wood cream, very nice sandalwood scent, excellent lather qualities. Similar to TOBS sandalwood cream scent.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm Artic sky silvertip badger, Excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow soft tips, nice scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse with Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood AS+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Stick Schick with a coated Personna blade.

Classy Sunday
I love this scent! It just says classy gent to me, and I enjoy the little menthol kick, too. I did get a couple weepers on my neck from going too fast, but no irritation.

That is a beautiful razor!

 

Some critise the looks especially the handle. However, I have used it a lot and find that the Notch in the handle really allows you to hold it securely especially when working ATG. Also delivers first class Shaves without any hassle.

 

It was the handle that initially put me off this razor and it took Mike to convince me of the positives. It is so comfortable to shave with.

Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Indian sandalwood, nice scent of Sandal wood + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm Mysterious space timber wolf knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso red sandalwood with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem clog Pruf with a coated Gem blade.
