Thanks Paul. You may remember, I purchased Max for my 65th birthday and wanted to get an abalone that was similar to the abalone scales of the razor. It took some research to find this brush. However, it is an acrylic Brush and when I saw it on Catie's Bubbles website, I could not believe my eyes that a $30 dollar Tuxedo Brush would match given the fact that the scale's design is unique. Other brushes cost a lot more, but it wasn't an ideal match with me. When I saw this brush, I was like a kid jumping with glee.

Thank you Daniel. It is a custom straight razor. It was my first custom and my first super-sized razor so it has a sentimental significance for me. Also, Max does a great job shearing my stubble.

They are different. The Stirling Spice is more pronounced. They both have a place in my den. However, if I had to chose one, then it would be the Old Spice because it's light enough that I can pair it with most soaps.

I’ve always admired the scales on that razor, although it’s much wider than I like. Fabulous shave, Joe!

Thanks Jeff! I definitely understand your position and you are not the only shaver that thinks that way. :)

Well my son and grandson got the old transm. and clutch pulled, Gary. They complained when their supervisor (yours truly) insisted that they clean and remove the 26 yrs of accumulated goop before reinstalling the new transmission and clutch. My son pulled me aside and ask that I leave the TR6 to him instead of his son. I told him I’d have to think on it. Enjoy your evening

I am glad that I am not in your shoes. It seems you are in a Catch-22.

Thanks, Joe! It's just an usual sauna temp. Most often saunas are somewhere between 160° and 212°F. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. The hottest sauna I've been at was 250°F, but that wasn't very pleasant anymore.

Well, I am 66 and feel old much of the time. I have PKD (kidney disease) and other problems. I can't do as much as I once could. They took me out of work due to my health when I was 42. I was pretty good for a while but, now, I definitely feel old. I have outlived both my parents (mom was 42 & dad was 52) and my older sis who died from PKD in 2017. I'm hangin' on here and getting as much out of life as I can!

Hence my adventure in shaving. Trying things I never would have. Like a straight razor for one thing.
