Thanks Gary, I was surprized by the bloom. I thought it would be a issue but it is not because when it gets wet it kind of goes back to a normal shape more or less.
Nice face feel the silver tips are and glade I bought it.

it was my first silvertip.price was affordable compared to trying a $$ name brand brush.

Found but did not buy...a gold, cased, user grade Gillette barber pole open comb TTO. Don't know which model it is but much of the gold is long gone and it refused to open when the knob is turned.

Guy was asking $325.

Also saw a Slim Twist for $7. Passed on that too.

$325 for an unusable Gillette; that’s just crazy! You’d spend that much to have it repaired/revamped by a pro. Good thing you didn’t buy it.

I won this Type C (3?) and this gem set. I was surprised how cheap i got these at $25 shipped but I’m not complaining.

Tuesday mail call is various packs of blades from Amazon. I got Tatra Platinum from Czech Republic, Supermax Diamond Edge from India and Personna Comfort Coated made in the USA.

Just received in the mail the last of my Yaqi razor heads that I got on sale recently. They where at a very affordable price so why not try them out. They are all made of Zamac but the quality seems very good IMO.

That Yaqi slant is one aggressive head..........

There is lots of blade feel for folks who like that. I like to ride the safety bar (Steep angle) when using a aggressive razor with a short handle(2 3/4") works well for my self.
I play around with my Hobby USB microscope every once in a while and took this photo as best as I could to give a person how much blade exposure it has.
The Knights helmet has about .010-.012 thousands exposure and might be a little more aggressive than the Yaqi slant but I have not used it yet.
