I honed an Engels and a Red Imp from bevel set to finish for my friend, and touched up my two Iwasaki’s, my Klas Tornblom and my Wilbert Regal. They were all popping styrofoam when I finished. Got a call from my buddy. He was really happy with the Red Imp. Claims it shaved better than it ever had before! We’ll wait to see how it goes tomorrow. Still have the new A. Witte to hone. Enjoy your shaves.

    Early Morning Shave,

A close comfortable shave to finish my shave week off in style from the Parker InjRzr.

My introduction to injector razors has helped to further my passion for this traditional wet shaving hobby of mine.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.;)

    Good morning all!!

Just finished my shave and am delighted I pulled the trigger on this razor.
    20220512_060644 (2).jpg

First off this is a full stainless steel tool making it a heavy one to say the least.
I use feather pro super blades that is not recommended according to razorock because it would be to aggressive, to me that's nonsense, but...
Anyway, to load it you set the blade on the base plate then set the top cap on. This is backwards compared to most 3 piece razors I have but not difficult.
I'd recommend a good lather as I chose WF as my first run and it didn't disappoint.
The face shave was smooth but efficient, kinda like my MMOC but slightly smother. The weight of this razor is not what I am accustomed to using but it didn't seem to bother the feel or make any issues. 2 passes and I'm as close as I can be without blood or rash. A wonderful shave, gonna feel good about this all day.
The head shave is more of the same.
One pass and I'm good for the day.
I admit I'm not a fan of heavy razors for the head shave but I had no issues.
The feel of this tool made it smoother than most any other heavy razors I have.
Now this is not for the shavers that like a super speed or the like.
If you use something like a MMOC for your daily driver, it's heavier, but worth the weight.

All in all, I like it very much.

    All
    Enjoy

    tp

Excellent shave this mornign with the Feeather DX. I just needed a little cleanup on my right jawline. I managed to do a 2 pass shave with the DX and this time I kept in my mind "NO PRESSURE!!!" and it went smoothly. No irritation today. No leakers, cuts, or errors!

I showered last night so, I did the hot washcloth on the face thing while I warmed my lather bowl and brush. I couldn't bloom the soap becuz there is no room for water! The Ogallala filled the wood bowl to the brim! So, once the bowl/brush were warmed, I didn;t shake out the brush and started swirling on the soap. Filled the bowl with lather and worked it to tons of cream! Proraso Blue remains the constant. Shaved 2-pass with the DX and got really close except for my right jawline. I am not that good with my left hand yet so, I picked up the Parker 94R with a Bic blade to do the little cleanup needed. NICE blades! VERY pleasant shave that I hated to see end!

Alum bar gave almost no feedback so, I did MUCH better today!:D Finished with Proraso balm.

So, I am improving. Lots of things to keep in mind!

I decided to use the same Shark blade as yesterday, but this time in the R41. I got an excellent shave, no irritation and didn't even reopen yesterdays weeper. I'm really liking the R41, it's growing on me. The Sharks are not bad either! Not the sharpest blades out there, but they work well for me.

    Have a great day, gentlemen!

That's a fine shave Daniel! My Mühle 102 has the R41 head with a white resin handle. It shaves so close that it could never be a daily driver.
