  8. My shave with the Parker was very acceptable.I find the Parker to give me a acceptable close shave, not in the same league as the Supply V2, granted. The Parker i consider a Every day shaver, as the Supply V2 i use when i have a few days growth..Yes i do agree that injector razors are fabulous shavers, which every traditional wet shaver should try if giving the opportunity to do so. Take care my Yankee Doodle Dandy friend.

PS: Incidentally, you mentioned PIF’ing a fellow member of TSR (UK) shaving forum, only yesterday has generously passed on a Schick I1 injector to me which will be a wonderful edition to my humble injector razor collection.

Once again the R41 delivers a great shave! I had a pimple or something and opened that up, but no big deal. Apart from that the shave went really well!
I'm enjoying the R41 a lot. TOBS Peppermint is really nice too.

    Have a great day, gents!

  11. I said the same thing! I still remember trying out one and cut my face all up! Going to try one in my Tech this morning
  12. If I had a strop, I might even try my new razor. Strop on order. It cost me 5 bucks and the edge looks good. I have it coated with mineral oil now.

  15. Fabulous Friday Shave Daniel! I have never tried peppermint scented soaps. It is on my list to do so.

  16. They’re very nice shavers, Barry! I'm not sure if they accept the Schick Injector II Twinblade, if I remember correctly, it’s L Type and later, but your Supply will. If you ever get a chance to shave with Injector II blades, you won’t be disappointed! It’s my favorite injector blade! Unfortunately, they donkt fit my Speed Shavers. Enjoy your shaves!
  17. Gary, I can pretty much guarantee that that Gold Dollar isn’t shave ready. A strop alone won’t do it for you. It's your face! I hope I’m wrong! I wouldn’t even try until you’re at least 50 to 75 full face shaves in with the DX. At that point, I’d do 5 more shaves with an unguarded AC blade like a Feather Pro.
  18. Yes, it is not sharp enuff for a shave. I don't plan on shaving with it any time soon. I can't complain for 5 bucks! I am improving the shave with the DX. No irritation today and minimal cleanup.

  19. It was another excellent shave with minimal damage. I got one nick on my chin. Neck and cheeks smooth.

Proraso Blue remains my constant. I am using the Ogallala Bay Rum until I can get the lid on the bowl! There is currently no room to bloom the soap with hot water. Simpson brush made tons of lather. The Feather DX got my cheeks and neck close except for my right jawline. Cleanup done with the Tech and Bic blade. Very nice little razor! The alum bar gave no feedback so, I am getting better with the pressure. Proraso after-shave.

I hope all have a glorious day!

  20. Thanks Joe! I enjoy the TOBS peppermint a lot. It cools the face nicely and of course the scent is great.
