Thank you, Joe. The sophististicated, gentlemanly goo shaves of recent days have been OK, but anxious to return to soap shaves.
Excellent series of shaves. I know you have explained it before but your “above the shoulder” shave classification befuddles me. All shaves are above the shoulder unless you are doing your nether regions. Care to elaborate or would that fall into the category of TMI. c
Based on my pic and occasional videos, I shave my dome and do not post it. I have used above-the-shoulder as a term to signify doing my head and face simultaneously. Yes, a face shave is above the shoulder but I feel using the term above-the-shoulder shave means shaving everything above the shoulder. On the rare occasion that I just post a headshave, then I say a headshave. We just call a face shave a shave. It's sort of understood, like omitting you as the subject of a sentence. Barry, shaves his head and face and just calls it a shave. If I didn't ask him if he shaved his head, then I wouldn't know it. Finally, I use the term above-the-shoulder shave to simply say that I am shaving my face and head all in one session. Now, aren't you glad that you asked? Lol!
Thanks Daniel. I have the 6C which is the zinc alloy version. The 6S is the same design, but is made of stainless steel. I also have the Model T version 1. There is a version 2 that has a slight design change, but to the naked eye, the new version looks like the original. Both razors have performed well for me.
