I'm glad that you found the right watch! It looks great, I like the color combination. The movements on these should be pretty solid too.

 

I like my daily wearer which is a Seiko 5 automatic. But, if I don't wear it for a day, it stops.

 

Saw one of these at an antique store last week, had a darkened yellow-orange face but that may have been the age of the plastic crystal. Striking, either way.

Here is a different one from Waltham. Second hand in the 3-o'clock position rather than 6 o'clock. In a gold filled case.This runs too.

 

Mine is like this one. Now I need to start carrying it again.

Very Nice! I think the crystal has yellowed on mine. But, it has character!

 

very cool.i have read they are not easy to service due to their build construction.,no jewels.works happily gaining 4 minutes a day...

 

Yep, they are what they are but well worth having.

Hands retouched with fresh coat of glow. The rest is the original patina.
