After the usual 1-2 minutes hot towel prep: Shavemac 22mm silvertip 30's style open comb Aristocrat/ Iridium DR Harris Marlborough SS Lucky Tiger AS Tann Rokka 'Aki' EdT My first time using an open comb razor, and man.........what an excellent shave. It's got a sort of aggressive feel to it, but still very comfortable on my face. These are different than the later models (which I don't care for). This thing left me with an extremely smooth face, with zero irritation. Hehe, I'm surprised I enjoyed using this razor so much. Plus....it's a purty little thing.
Friday: Omega Silvertip Weishi Chrome/new Sharp Noxzema lather S/C Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Burt's Bees Bay Rum A/S balm Black Garter cologne although the Weishi is so gentle and forgiving, it still gives a very good shave if you take a little extra time. @Tom--mein lieber Freund, komm oft mehr, ein Fremder bist du nicht. Es freut Uns immer dir zu sehen!
Friday Slant Personna(USA ASRC) Pirates Cove Bay Rum VDH Boar Brush Thayers Rose Witch Hazel Aqua Velva Classic After Shave The Personna blades picked up at Walmart for $1.76 and they give a nice close shave without irritation. What a bargain and no shipping involved. All IMHO
TGIF: Musgo Real Lime preshave soap / Parker 91r / Lord Cool blade d1 / VDH boar brush / Arko Shave Stick / Old Spice aftershave A very kind gentleman on another board sent me the Parker 91r to replace the 89r that I ruined when I dropped it. A great razor that gave me a fantastic shave

Hot shower 39c Slant w/Feather - d5 Nancy Boy cream, hand-slathered WWR / Alum Block / CWR C&S #88 My Nik Is Sealed styptic roll-on The shave felt so good I didn't want to stop. So I didn't even feel or notice the nick by my adam's apple till I had rinsed my face. The alum block AND styptic roll-on didn't seem to make much of a difference. :ashamed001 Ah well ... occupational hazard, I guess.

Friday 12/12 . . . [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel [*]Brush: Knotty Badger refurbished Ever Ready 300 Silvertip [*]Cream: T&H 1805 [*]Razor: '12 Ever Ready with chain link handle - Nickel [*]Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated SE (shave 8) [*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil [*]A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & Pinuad Clubman A/S [*]EDT: TSD Bamboo & Teak [*]Result: Great BBS shave today. The 1805 make the slickest lather I have ever experienced. But all that slickness didn't really make a difference in the shave. I would like it and the thick long lasting lather of the 1805 if it were not so darn expensive. Now, the Pella blade finally gave out on the head shave. Got dull very fast once it decided to go away. No blood again today.

Friday... Merkur Futur / Gillette Swede blade Simpson Tulip 2 Tabac soap Alt Innsbruck AS; Clinique Post-Shave Healer Knize 10 A weird combination for me today. Despite all the raves, I've never thought that Tabac was anywhere near as good as the Trumper and Harris soaps. It's just kind of OK.
