It's really getting hard to decide which razor to use every morning! And this isn't all of them! I have stashed the ones I won't use anymore and I still have plenty out! My straights are on a shelf. The Slim is on the razor stand. My Vikings Blade razors are in their boxes on the shelf but, I will pull one out to use still.

Great Bay Rum shave, Terry! Have you been using the. Gabels for a while? As I remember the scent doesn’t last too long, which could work for me, given my bride’s scent allergy.

Lovely shave kit, Gary! Castle Forbes creams are two of my regulars, both the lavender and the lime. Enjoy your shaves.

You’re not describing a problem, Gary, but rather illustrating the wonders of ample choices! ;)

Very nice den shelf which I am sure you crafted yourself. Apparently you did not cage the ongoing effect of the RAD.

Today's shave was pretty good with the exception of one cut. Though I got it controlled somewhat with the cold-water rinse and Osage A;S., I knew it was bad at the beginning, because I let out a "OOOH" as it happened. This time no problems at S. Porcupine Alley, which is good(improvement from yesterday). First pass was fine-about 0:40 to load the brush with the Stoylin Sheep. Another beauty on the cheeks&sideburn area. N. Porcupine, too. You really do get the sound of "buttered toast" as you shave(like @Trigger likes to say). The cut happened during the second pass, located at N.Cactus Nation(almost at the jawline on right side.). I should have expected something like that to happen, as I didn't get as much soap on my face&neck as I did on the first pass. I did indeed go back to the Sheep to get more on, but still it didn't look like the amount I had for the first. One cut, no New Yorkers, and no red polka dots. After the Osage A.S. I finished with Mutamayez fragrance from Swiss Arabian. I do like that one!!I'll have to settle for Very Excellent for this shave, though.

    Thanks Jeff.
No, it was just a buy on a whim a few years ago. Just a now and then thing.
