MWF has great skin benefits, Gary as you’re discovering! Continuing use leads to the disappearing weeps experience. Many a time I might find a tiny bit of red fluid on an early pass that disappears in following passes. I rarely use alum anymore.

 

Greetings, gents.

I came home from the camping trip a few hours ago. It was raining all the time, and my friends old tent broke in three different places.. With a little bit of questionable engineering, it didn't leak at least. The humidity was a bit of an issue though. Next time I'll be taking my own tent. And a f-ton of duct tape.

Still a fun trip though. Here is a few quick pictures I took yesterday, an hour before midnight.







When I got home, I unpacked everything, because just about all of my gear was soaked, and heated up the sauna. Then I shaved with my R41, and decided to try a Big Ben blade, which reminded me of Shark SS. Both are Lord blades after all. Mühle Aloe soap did the job well, and Brut was my AS of choice.

The shave went well, no issues at all.

very nice and comfortable shave with one of the two birth year Gillette razors I have in the den. This is the second shave with the Shark Platinum blade. The results were an efficient and extremely close shave with a non existent alum report.

The boar brush easily whipped up the Ginger’s Garden soap. The soap provided a comfortable cushion for the blade to do it’s required task.

We have a cool and damp day for us here on LI. It is my son’s 12th birthday so he has claimed he is “King for the Day”. Here is what he has on site for us following his Ju Jitsu class this morning:
1. Lunch at a venue of his choosing. I hope it is not Friendly’s.
2. Movie: It will either be Top Gun Maverick or the Bob’s Burger Movie. I am sure you can guess which one I am hoping he selects.
3. Dinner: He has requested that I make him a lobster. The boy have expensive tastes.

Jeff...I wholeheartedly agree with your comment on the R41, it's definitely not for newbies!.in fact,it's not for some experienced traditional wet shaver's either...With the lightest of touch & patience my technique and shaving confidence has gave me the skill to be in control of this wonderfully efficient Fraulein. Enjoy your Saturday as well my friend.
