Nice Brit Redtip shave Gary! Is there a difference between the American and Brit Redtip?

thank you Joe.the brit version has a larger blade gap/exposure.not tried them side by side.this razor shaves very smooth compared to my u.s one, though many factors could be the reason.inexperience being one..i passed it along well over 2 years ago.

My main plan for this morning's shave was to do my best to bring out the good side of the MWF soap. So many here enjoy it-it's about time I do, too. I had the tiny Clubman brush, thus I didn't expect to do much "bringing out". But I worked hard at loading the MWF onto the brush. For the second pass, I did some more loading. Solid work all around. There was a cut, but it was neutralized by-you guessed it-the cold water rinse and Gent's Gin A.S. I'm going to try and finish off this Gent's Gin bottle during these 3 shaves, so I can bring up the new one I ordered many months ago(that I didn't need for many months). I suppose I could have done better at North Cactus Nation, but I'll work on that tomorrow. N. Cactus always bothers me, as that is where the ingrown hairs are(right side). Need to do my best to shave AROUND that area. I don't mean to ignore the hairs, just make sure to remember the other areas just as well. Since my one cut(no Knicks, no polka-dots)happened in the first place before they were controlled, I'll say Super Duper Excellent, since, as I said, most everywhere else worked out fine.

Thanks Daniel-I don't give my "pre-shave" routine the credit it deserves...body wash in the shower(I use different types, including some Stoylins I ordered).

Great shave at least, Daniel! Every man needs a handy roll of duct tape to fix anything that comes up, even battle trauma. My middle son, Sam, was a FMF Navy Corpsman in Afghanistan and says that duct tape is used to control bleeding. Enjoy your Saturday!
