Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11047 Mixed Midget.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Vitos Vegetal shaving soap.
Blade: Derby Usta. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 34c.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Original ASL./The Real Shaving Company PSSB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

A wonderful performance from the Vitos Vegetal shaving soap providing me with a good slick lather and a great post shave with no drying issues.

The Vitos Vegetal shaving soap has a wonderful 'Full On' vibrant sweet almond scent shaving soap. If you like almond scented shaving products this soap will blow you always with it's fragrance performance, and post shave feel...Superb stuff.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollop's of The Real Shaving Company PSSB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.

Super Sunday Shave Barry. Vitos Vegetal must be a European soap. It sounds comparable to Cella. Have a great day.
PS. I just looked it up. It is an Italian soap with an almond coconut scent.

 

I had a very nice shave today using the Feather DX for a 2-pass shave (WTG & ATG). I got close but not BBS. I did not push it and was rewarded with no feedback with the alum bar.

I started with a shower. Face was ready so, I applied the Proraso Blue (almost gone!) and then whipped the MWF in my mug and transfered it to my lather bowl to work it to nice creamy lather. The 3rd shave with the ProGuard blade was nice. Barely laying it on my face got me a nice smooth face. Jawline is still tough spot but, I did not push it. I want to shave again tomorrow with the DX so, I did not push it! I got close enough to pass for a good shave.

Alum bar was nice. Washed face with the remaining MWF from the brush and bowl. I hate to rinse good lather down the drain! That DX does give a nice close shave without really trying.

Finished off with Proraso AS and a dab of balm.

 

Jeff... The Vito's vegetal is very much comparable to Cella in every sense.The only difference is Cells is tallow based...Well worth checking out in your future buying exploits. Enjoy your Sunday my friend.

Joe..The Vito's compares to Cella in every aspect,the only difference is Cella is tallow based.As for performance,scent and post shave feel IMHO they are equally the same..Another soap I should,and will use more often.

 

I would not say I am a wiz with it yet but, I am getting better with it. I like not cutting myself. LOL

One mark of progress is that I got my upper lip really smooth with no weepers! I stopped trying to go ATG there. Even my chin is nice and smooth!

Hogie we both used the Fat today .
