You're right. I think I've built more lather than in past MWF uses, but I need to make that brush look like an ice-cream cone.

    Good afternoon.

    Dickinson's Witch Hazel

I am getting ready for services so I needed a shave. Really, I didn't need one, but I always shave on Sundays to look my best.
I decided to use my Dovo shavette and a rarely used shave cream. I won it in a YouTube giveaway along with my Müehle R102. Anyway, it's my second use with this shave cream and have to say that it is just OK. I had to facelather really hard to get a decent lather. It was slick, but it was low structure. On my second pass, I added more cream to my face and the lather was much better, but still it was just OK. I couldn't pick up the scent, but that's OK. It is a good travel shave cream, but it's also useful for a quick lather at home.
Did two and one-half passes with a minor pickup and got a nice shave. There were no errors during the shave. The Personna Hairshaper is losing its sharpness so I may just have a few more shaves before it gets banked.
Did get slight Alum feedback on the neck, but that was it. Witch hazel treatment was followed by the Stirling Glastonbury aftershave. It has an earthy patchouli scent, but I am fine with it. It's amazing that I run out of Stirling soaps, but not their matching aftershaves. I still have a significant anount of this aftershave. Would I buy the Glastonbury set again? In the beginning, I didn't like it, but it did grow on me. However, I am OK with the scent, but it's a no buy for me. Of course, I may change my mind. Lol!
    Have a safe holiday tomorrow.

I am normally good at just about anything I do with my hands. I am a mechanic, artist, musician, I do carpentry, and my sweetie says I am a good cook too! I study well and try to apply what I have learned. I do have a habit of jumping in with both feet before I know how deep the water is tho....:signs081:
