    SRS # 700

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Thiers-Issard Super Gnome Extra
Brush: CRD Sky Dragon 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Cella Crema da Barba
    Aftershave: PAA Chella Cool
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
Day Two of the Cella Gemini shave. Identical performance as yesterday. One minor change, which I am allowed, was to include the TI straight as it always gets the honor of the shave on the hundred. This is straight razor shave # 700.
The next two shaves, representing the Gemini theme, will feature the Enders Speed razor. The soap, splash and brush will be decided on later this evening.

The clouds are burning off and the humidity is increasing. Time to finish up the outdoor chores before I become a major league sweat ball.

Hercules lounging by the pool. I bet Theodore would love this Hogie, @Hogie

Theodore would be awestruck by the Great Outdoors. He talks to animals he sees outdoors sometimes. One day he was laying in the dining room window when a fishercat went past. He talked to it and it kept coming back! Fishercats will kill and eat a cat. After it made the third pass of the window, I had to go outdoors and fire a few shots at it to run it off.

I LOVE them fat brushes! LOL I really like my Simpson Trafalgar T3

Cooler here today with a NW wind bringing in cool Canadian air.

I will repeat the shave tomorrow with the Bay Rum soap and the Bay Rum AS. I have 2 new razors arriving today so, one will be the shaver for tomorrow's shave.;)

I think I have all the bases covered now. I have 6 brushes! The last brush was part of a "Lot" of shaving stuff. All I wanted was the razor! LOL
But, I did manage to restore the brush to usable again. I probably will buy another large brush similar to my Trafalgar T3. It is the only brush of it's size that I own and I really do like the bigger brush. Maybe another synthetic like the T3.

One of the razors arriving is the Gillette 1930s LONG comb open comb. The second is the Fatip Grande open comb

I only use my dominant hand when I shave with a safety razor.
However, I find using both hands while using a straight or a shavette is much easier for me.

Joe, if the ball rolls into the pool, does Hercules jump in and get it?

You will get to the point where it will become second nature so that you won't have to think about it. However, shaving on autopilot sometimes will cause a nick because you can become unfocused for that split second.
