    Greetings,

    (Face & head Shave.)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...For intentional purpose i was going to start a month focus on the vast amount of DE blades that i have infrequently used, but i changed my mind at the last minute and decided to have another Injector razor focus week after the wonderful shave's that i have had with them recently.

Everything in my shave set up this morning worked together excellently...Another wonderful from the Supply V2 razor is such a comfortable smooth performing shaving tool.

Another close comfortable acceptable face & head shave with errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few squirts of Blue Stratos EdT to the chest & pulse points.

My face and precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend, ladies & gentlemen.

That Feather DX gets me SO close! I will not need a shave this morning!
I can barely feel any whiskers!
    That DX sure is efficient!

Maybe later around noon or after...

SOTD SATURDAY MORNING, JUNE 4, 2022

This is my last post until next Saturday. I’ll be out of pocket without WiFi, just the bride and me for the next seven days. Ordered a new duraluminum frame Flywheel from Italy for the TR6 which arrived yesterday. The last godawful part necessary! The bride understands that we’re leaving after everything is in place! My grandson and a friend will be house sitting.

Took the new-to-me Case Red Imp 6/8 out for its first mug shave! It was advertised as “shave ready”, but I guess that means different things to different people! It shaved hair, but was a bit too tuggy for my liking! So last night it went to the stones! This morning’s shave was a delight! The little razor balanced beautifully in hand and delivered a remarkably smooth three pass shave.

I haven’t had a good noggin shave with one of my favorite Gem razors, the ClogPruf, in some time. So I loaded a fresh Pella PTFE Gem blade and tore through that noggin stubble in two ATG passes. While not in the same category as my Shake Sharps or Speed Shavers, the shave was still respectable, and left yours truly smooth as a peach from noggin to neck!

RAZOR: Case “Red Imp” 6/8 (Mug), Gem ClogPruf (Dome)
    BLADE: Pella PTFE SS Gem
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a heavy scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rearden Razor 316L SS Tuxedo Synth
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys WH. Finished with The Shave Den Custom Glacial Peppermint AS Splash.

Terrific shave Barry. If I wasn't such a straight razor shaver, then I would get one of the Supply razors. I would probably get the latest one with the no nick technology plate. Have an awesome afternoon.

It's not unusual to get such a close shave with an open blade razor that you can skip a day or two. I usually wait at least 30 hrs before my next shave.

Well, I do have it set up for the afternoon shave.

The LONG comb open comb 1930's Gillette came. Second use of the Voskhod blade and will bin. Second day with the Bay Rum & Vanilla soap and the Proraso White.

Whipped with the Simpsons #46 brush. I really like this soap. Easy to lather and is nice and slick!

I will use the Captian's Choice "Bay Rum" AS today again as well.

    Shavette Shave #369
    Parker SRB
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (5)
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus SS
    Pinaud Clubman Lilac Vegetal
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 39 hrs

    Dome Shave
    ShakeSharp Razor (not pictured)
    2 Rockwell DE Blades (1)
    Dome Growth: 3 days

I finally deep-sixed Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus SS. The performance of the soap is very good, but it just had a slight scent and was non-existent after a few shaves. It's why I placed it in my shave mug because there wasn't any scent to worry about dissipating into the air. With that said, I placed a hardly used Fine Accoutrements Platinum in the mug for the same reason.

Anyway, let me get on with my shave report.
My Stirling boar brush whipped up a nice creamy lather to prepare my beard. Did a two pass shave with pickups for a BBS result without errors.
Using my Shakesharp, did 3 passes with pickups for a cueball smooth shave.
Applied the alum block and there wasn't any feedback on my face, neck or dome.
Witch hazel and the Veg topped off the shaves. I must say that I look younger. Ok, I know that is a delusional statement. Lol! I will say that my skin looks great. Have a nice day guys.

good morning gents.fine 2 pass shave with the canadian tech/platinum combo.lovely lavender lather built with the semogue boar.speick aftershave to finish.awesome.
while straight lavender isn't my favorite scent, the soap performance is excellent, though not $50 per tub excellent.i get better lathers for less with other products.post shave is nice.
i intend to get every pennies worth out of this tub ,but won't repurchase.like a few other high end soaps i have purchased, one is paying price of entry for prestige and status, not extraordinary performance.;)
    have a fine day everyone..:eatdrink047:

Fabulous shave, Barry! I’m glad you like the Supply! Best injector razor on the planet IMHO! I’m taking my V2 and my Tedalus on this week getaway with the bride!

Thanks, Joe! I’m taking my Supply and Tedalus on the outing! Also bringing a different soap, Baume.Be for a change of pace! It’s actually quite similar to the Fat!

Terrific shave Gary. I agree that paying for a top tier soap doesn't give you a better shave than a low end one. I can understand paying for a top tier razor because it will last a lifetime, but soap is a consumable item such that you are literally throwing money down the drain.

I believe the Maestro wasn't too fond of Baum Be. In any event,, you are going to have great shaves with those razors.. Enjoy your outing with wife.

thank you Joe.:):eatdrink047:.i agree.my mdc and dr harris fit in the same boat.they will last a long time, especially the mdc as it takes little product to build a lather.as for top tier razors, they are only worth it if they deliver the shave one is expecting ..a ferrari that doesn't drive is an expensive lawn ornament..;)
