the tobs cream punches way above it's price point.
a touch drying compared to some artisan bases but post care products cover that.
will always have tobs of some sort in the den.

It's time for my Sunday afternoon shave before I head off to thus evening's services.
In keeping with the double theme, I used my Parker shavette. I am counting the Fine Platinum soap as double because I used up the Italian Citrus and it's still the same brand. I have the Platinum aftershave, but I decided to go with the Old Spice because I prefer it. I really don't get anything out of this Creed Adventus scent from the soap or aftershave.

I have to say that Fine Accoutrements makes an easy, rich, and creamy lather, but the scent strength is a 1 on a scale of ten. Here is the puck lathered in the mug so you can see the goodness:


I had enough lather for at least 4 passes.

My 2 pass shave with minor touchups gave me a nice BBS shave without any drama. I did bin the blade and will decide if I want to go with another Rockwell or some other blade. I have less than a tuck of Rockwell blades, but I have over 90 other ones thanks to Patrick (9nein9) who left the TSD. Three and a half years to use up a 100 blade box of Rockwells. You can see that I don't shave much with my non-straights. Lol!
Anyway, I had very little alum feedback and followed it with the witch hazel and Old Spice. I am happy with the shave. Now, I am thinking my next 2 shaves will be either using the Mühle R41 or the Gillette Fatboy. Of course, it may be something else. Have a great afternoon.

Nothing special, but very functional! And the end result is very smooth, without irritation or blood.
