DE SOTD, Sat, June 4th 2022 Razor : Gillette Fatboy E4- Mfg 1959 4th qtr, excellent adjustable IMO, I receive excellent shaves on (settings 7,7, pickups 8) well built. Birthday year razor! Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP, Sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity. Soap : Speick, nice spicy mild fragrance with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi 24mm Ferrari Boar Bristle- Excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, nice scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gillette Fatboy with a 7oClock SP. Have some great shaves!

that is a beautiful example of the New series long comb.i recently passed mine along as i use the british versions,which are nickel/silver plated.be careful with these gold versions as the finish can wear easily with too much polishing.they are gold plated over brass with a shellac type coating.
