  3. Wow, what will British Stoylin come up with next???? :)
  4. I really like the one tobacco scent I have "Sherlock". That vanilla Clubman looks nice! I will have to do a search.

Nice shave setup, Gary! Nice Gillette!
  5. I'll dig it out and add it to my razor rotation, pairing it up with a Chinese made DE blade too.
  6. ;):eatdrink047:.nice stuff actually.

  8. thank you Gary.its a fine shaver.this soap is nice but i prefer whiskey type booze/tobacco scents,a little sweet.the vanilla clubman has an old school gasoline type scent.lovely stuff.:):eatdrink047:
  9. I like the razor as you said for travel.
But I put feathers in mine, the blades that come with it are to dull for my liking.
    Great shave.
No reason to be afraid of that one either.

  10. Real nice shave this morning. In fact, it was excellent. How excellent. We'll soon find out.
Grest job at the loading dock with the Albion 1925 brush. After about 0:40 it looked ready to go to work. Since the knot is light-colored, it's a challenge to see when enough soap is on there (course it would be a horse of a different kettla fish with darker-colored soap). I THOUGHT that I had covered all of the face and neck, but after the shave concluded, I noticed I missed an area under the right ear(it's been tough to get that spot, for whatever reason). Ditto with just to the right of the Ingrown Swamp at Cactus. That too has been tricky-dunno why. But other than those areas, the shave went real well. No Knicks, Cuts, or Polka-dots. Cheeks&sideburns(well, except for the aforementioned area on the latter)were fine. Ditto all of Porcupine Alley. Not much spillage with the Aqua Velva., No cologne today. Super Duper Excellent.
  11. Pepper really stands out with "Sherlock" and tobacco too DSCN7224.JPG
  12. Right, I've tried it. Not above trying it again in life.

  14. Never had that razor (really pricy) But I hear that it's nice and efficient (aggressive to some)

Is it all that it's said to be?

  15. I'd like to thank my 3 "likers" for liking my shave post, given the egregious typo errors, which I just corrected.

  17. There's no sight better for those female barbers than seeing a husky tall cowboy walking in in need of a haircut and shave. :)
  18. Thank you Gary-in fact I was going to go with the top grade until I later felt the astroturf I missed.

  19. "Ghostown Barber" is up for tomorrow. I just got it and have yet to use it. Tomorrow is the day! Also, the 1950's GEM "Featherweight". The blades arrive today! If my new Trafalgar T2 brush comes today, so is that! ;)
