I found it VERY easy to lather. The "blooming" of the soap with HOT water helps a lot. I did not have to swirl the brush in the jar over my lather bowl for long before I had enuff to whip up. Less than a minute I had tons of lather. I always whip it again before re-applying for the next pass. Wonderful scent and lubrication.

Nice setup and shave! I am glad I am stocked up on MWF. I see it out of stock all over! Popular soap! One of my favs too.

I plan on using the same setup again tomorrow. That will be the end of this jar of TOBS Herbal Gel pre-shave.
LOVE the soap! And the brush!

    good morning gents.
    fabulous citrus shave today.
smooth 2 passer in the usual manner.
fine citrus lather...i did overwater it at first,
but a shot of Kiss My Face cream built a fabulously slick superlather.
sadly the matching splash smelled a bit funky so i ditched it.
fine citrus to the rescue, near identical scent to the soap.
i will load this soap directly from the puck from now on,
as it is quite hard, due to age.
i want to finish it up.
    on to the next
    awesome.

    have a fine saturday everyone.

    Good morning.

Got a nice lather whipped up with the Evan brush. It really is a nice brush with a soft synthetic knot. It has always performed well for me.
The soap is so easy to make a slick lather and the dark lavender scent is just awesome.
It's been 5 weeks since I shaved with Artie
I had a nice 2.5. pass shave. There weren't any errors and it was a close shave. The alum gave some feedback. Finished the shave in my usual manner. Have a super Saturday.

I can imagine that the angle is very steep with that razor. Probably laying flat on your face. That is a BIG blade!

Great color scheme, pic, gear and shave Gary. I am surprised Mickey Dee's aftershave went bad. Usually, that doesn't happen with alcohol aftershaves.

thank you Joe.:)it may have been fine, but it always had a "funk"to it compared to the Fine a/s or my colonia sample.no longer "keeping "stuff i don't love.my house is full of "well ,i'd better keep it just in case" .in a Next mode these days.i forsee a whole bunch of hangers on being deep 6'd or passed along in the near future..;):eatdrink047:

It may be Citrus Saturday for you guys but, for Theo it's #Caturday
Bright eyed! And very frisky. I tried combing a bit more and he was grabbing at me and biting! Playful bites. Theo is a character.
