Today, it appeared I was headed for a4th "Outta" of my last 5 shaves, but I blew it on the right side of S. Porcupine. Got a cut that looked a bit serious. The cold water rinse and Aqua Velva helped ease it some, but I still wasn't satisfied. Real shame as I did well again at the loading dock, and the Stoylin brush grabbed the soap as if it was a magnet(the brush, not the soap). I ALMOST got that "ice-cream cone" look on the Stoylin that so many of you get. Great work on the cheeks&sideburns -and I DID get what I missed yesterday, @brit :). S. Porcupine was the only problem. The Aqua Velva A.S. did spill a bit, but I wanted to make sure to get a good amount of it onto the cut. Course a Glacial(any brand)would be the best for that. 2 passes. No Knicks, the bad cut, and No Polka-dots. I'm going to have to" settle"for Most Excellent this morning.

Here's a question, Joe-shouldn't the horseracing industry have called it the ELMONT steaks, since it is in Elmont, NY?

I figured out what his problem was...he wanted more food in his dish. He hates when I can't figure out what he wants and that is when he bites and gets vocal. LOL
He is a smart fluffy for sure!

She calls the shots today, eh? :) Y'know, a couple days ago when my sister and I were face-timing, she had one of her cats closeby, and suddenly she must of recognized me because she got up close to the phone-so much so that I saw her eyeball. We have a relationship.

Yes Gary, during my years in Washington DC I was able to catch a bus up to the Preakness Steaks in Baltimore a few times.

Thank you Gary-I've had many shaves that should have received the top grade, but for one cut.

That's right Joe-I'm beginning to realize I can't have TOO MUCH soap.

They run around so much that they can work their bellies back to normal-that is, until their next meal.

Well I don't usually report on my headshaves, but I did one a few minutes ago. I used my Rockwell 6C on setting 6 (max) to do a 3 pass shave with pickups. I used my Müehle R41 for the pickups because the blade in my Rockwell 6C was just about spent. The headshave was cueball smooth. Now you guys are wondering what's the deal with this headshave. I am glad to report the Gentlemen's Nod Zaharoff Signature Series shave soap has bit the dust. The brush that I used to finish this soap once and for all was my Stirling Boar Brush. I am thrilled to get rid of this soap at last. I still have the matching aftershave, but I will use it with Arko and other lightly scented soaps. Excluding my 1 oz Stirling samples and the ones that Joe C puffed me, I presently have 11 pucks of soaps. Most are more than 3/4 full. I believe my next soaps to be on the chopping block will be Shannon's Soaps The Warrior and Chiseled Face Cryogen. I like these last two soaps, but summer is here and Cryogen is my only summer soap. The Warrior is great, but it was a limited edition without a matching splash so I need to deep six it as well. Anyway that's it for this report.
