  7. Need a blade? I have a 100 pack of Shark and the Feather too behind the ones in front. I won't need to buy blades for a while.

    Straight Shave # 375
    13/8 ArtRazor 1000 (25)
    MrEE LE #10 Cashmere Brush
    Razorock XX SS
    Pinaud-Clubman Classic AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 29 hrs

The only thing different from yesterday's shave was the soap and aftershave.
Razorock XX is a great soap as far as producing a slick, creamy lather with the greatest of ease. The scent is pretty mild, but it means that I can pair it with any aftershave. However, I will not repurchase this soap because it really doesn't have a strong scent, but will try other Razorock soaps. If I wanted to buy an unscented soap, then that's my choice, but if a soap doesn't explicitly state that it is unscented, then I want it to be at least medium strength.
The 2 pass shave was fine without any hiccups. Alum feedback was evident, but not too heavy. Finished with the witch hazel and the P/C Classic aftershave. It really has a nice barbershop scent. The only drawback is that it doesn't last long. Hey, it's not an EDT so I shouldn't expect it to permeate beyond 5 minutes. Lol! Take care.

  19. June 30/30 -- Sunday Evening Shave Edition

Razor: Blackland Blackbird; OC brass plate
    Blade: vintage Schick SS Krona
    Brush: Omega 48 boar
    Soap: MWF
    A/S: Aqua Velva

Keeping with the Blackland razor theme, here is the Blackbird with the brass open comb plate. Two passes on the face and dome; very efficient shave this evening. Keeping the soap simple as I have been having a skin issue on the periphery of my neck and other shaving areas. Not sure what it is; probably stress-related.
